About Me

Hi, my name is Hen!  I am running for the governing board of the your local school district. I have lived in the area as far back as 1984, where I myself attended school  in Moraga!  I am proud to have been a part of this community, a community that guided me through our amazing school system and all the way to UC-Riverside, where I studied Electrical Engineering. 

Many of the skills that have enabled me to thrive come from the very classes I took here. To this day, I often think of the art teacher in 6th grade who was so kind, the English teacher in 10thgrade that really taught me how to write a compelling piece;  three years of high school auto shop enabled me to walk onto a job-site with heavy machinery and not be intimidated to  climb on it. 

This school district helped me find my passion, my interests, and eventually to start a small technology business in ports and railroads.  Let's work together so many more  have the same chances I did to find their passions and strengths. I am a unique person with an open mind to improve the school experience for everyone, not just a select few.  I currently have two young high school students that also went through the school system here which brings me an understanding  to serve everyone in the community with approachability, kindness, and respect.
